Champions FC Training Center will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new multi-sports complex in Stafford on August 23. The facility will feature soccer fields, basketball courts, a speed agility center, strength training, wrestling, and martial arts training.
Founded by Israel and Rachel Hidalgo in 2021, Champions is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. They collaborate with local programs to combat food insecurity and have actively supported local law enforcement and hospital staff. According to their website, Champions aims to “provide a positive, competitive youth sport experience for players, parents, and coaches,” promoting self-confidence and self-esteem in youth beyond the playing field.
The sports complex is located at 45 Centrepoint Parkway, part of a new 46,800-square-foot warehouse complex built by CIP Finishes.
