Police are on the scene of a drunken driver who is blocking the driveway of a home and refusing to leave.

At 3:15 p.m. deputies responded to a residence in Argyle Heights subdivision for an unknown medical emergency. They arrived to find an adult male passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle, blocking the driveway of a residence. As the deputies made contact with the man, they observed suspected controlled substances inside. The suspect refused to exit and drove further onto the property. He was subsequently blocked in, but continued to refuse commands to surrender. Deputies made entry to the car and the suspect was extracted. The suspect is now in custody and we will update charges and bond when they are available.
