The results are in for the Manassas City Council Democratic Primary Election, and three candidates have emerged victorious: Mark D. Wolfe, Ashley R. Hutson, and Tom C. Osina. Democrat voters indicated they want incumbents Wolfe and Osina to retain their positions. Meanwhile, newcomer Hutson significantly outperformed Osina in terms of vote count.
The three campaigned as a slate during the primary season. Osina is seeking his second term on the council, while Wolfe is seeking his fourth term as a council member, his third as a Democrat. He won as a Republican for his first term in 2012.
